Checked on 16 October 2026. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) uses the official e-Pariksha One Time Registration (OTR) service to help applicants save their profile details and supporting information for recruitment applications. Completing OTR is not the same as applying for a particular vacancy: candidates must still follow the individual advertisement and submit that application within its deadline.
Use the official portal
Keep these details ready
Before starting, keep access to your own active mobile number and email account. The portal asks for personal details such as name, date of birth, parents’ names, gender/category and domicile information, and it provides sections for communication, academic qualifications, experience, photograph and signature. The current OTR page also lists Aadhaar-related information among the registration details. Follow the fields and document requirements actually shown on the official portal; do not rely on an old screenshot or assume that every recruitment asks for identical documents.
How to complete OTR
- Open the official e-Pariksha portal and choose the registration option.
- Enter your email/mobile and the requested personal details carefully.
- Verify your contact details using the portal’s OTP process.
- Sign in and complete the profile sections shown on your dashboard, including qualification and uploaded photo/signature details where required.
- Review spelling, date of birth, category and other entries against your documents. Complete any final verification or lock/submit step the dashboard requires, then save your OTR number and login details securely.
- Go to the UPPSC website, open the exact recruitment advertisement, read its instructions and submit a separate application with any applicable fee before the advertised closing time.
Important checks before you apply
- One-time registration does not automatically submit an exam or recruitment form.
- Follow the specific notice for the vacancy deadline, application fee, age cut-off, qualification, photo/signature format and required certificates.
- If you already have an OTR number, use the official login/help process rather than making a duplicate profile.
- Never share a password or OTP with an agent or an unofficial website.
Frequently asked questions
Is UPPSC OTR itself a job application?
No. After completing the profile, you must still apply separately for the specific advertisement as instructed by UPPSC.
Is there one common last date for OTR?
This guide does not set a deadline. The application window and any fee-payment cut-off are stated in each recruitment notice; check the official portal before acting.
What if I already registered?
Log in through the official e-Pariksha portal and review your profile. Do not create another ID unless the official instructions specifically direct you to do so.
Which documents are needed?
The live form and the relevant recruitment notice control the exact requirements. Keep your identity, qualification and contact details available, and upload only the file types requested by the portal.
Where can I get help?
Use the help/contact options on the official e-Pariksha portal or UPPSC website, not an unofficial paid service.
